We're on in March, plenty of time for the Maus to come back this year. 7.3 even is a maybe, anything below that is lunacy, and it'd be spammed to high heaven. Without BR decompression (which is unlikely to happen on a serious level any time soon), the Maus can't really go down. Problem is, it IS hard to balance with the way the BR's are now. Who are you to decide that this is a closed issue? I see no replacement for the Maus in the game and no dates for its return as an event vehicle, until one of these conditions is satisfied, OP and others have every right to complain. But to say they should not have even announced it to prevent the kind of reaction they ended up getting anyway is stupid. The entire community, not just the German players, were up in arms over this. The common excuse that is trounced out by those rare few, who, for reasons completely beyond me, are supportive of Gaijin's actions, is that the Maus was "tOo haRd To baLanCe." I've never seen such vehement hatred towards Gaijin as there was when they removed the Maus. And as for the reasons being "subjective" as you say, the Maus is not a paper tank, it existed. A player should not have to search the depths of the cesspit that is the War Thunder forums for news of future changes to the game, changes that may never have even be implemented knowing Gaijin's track record. The Panther 2 and Tiger 10.5 had always been marked out for removal but not the Maus. "The writing was on the walls for years," no it wasn't. Being hidden from standard research and will now only be obtainable in future events and other opportunities later in the future." "As such, with Update 1.91 the Maus will become a rare event collectable vehicle. In the original article, such had never been said. The writing was on the walls for years (2+?) to anyone who paid any attention to the developers Q&A, and your question somewhat self-answering (They only removed it in September, and with how irked the German-playing fan base got over it, had there been any announcement it would be plastered all over every forum). Such is subjective, and this dead horse has been beaten time and time again on this forum and others.
